17 vs 18 Inch Wheels on a Patrol
Both sizes bolt straight onto a Patrol. The right choice comes down to how you use it.

Patrol Wheel Offset Guide
Offset controls how far your wheel sits in or out of the guard. A lower number pushes the wheel further out for a wider, tougher stance.

Australian vehicle standards generally limit how much wider your track can go (commonly 25mm per side) before modifications need engineering. Rules vary by state, so check with your local authority or talk to our team if you are running a low or negative offset.

What size wheels and rims fit a Nissan Patrol?
Every Lenso Patrol wheel on this page comes in 17x9 or 18x9, in the correct 6x139.7 stud pattern for GQ, GU and Y62 models. A 20x9 Marvel is also available for Patrol owners after a bigger look.
Do the same wheels fit a GQ, GU and Y62?
The stud pattern (6x139.7) is identical across all three, so yes, the same wheel will bolt up. Centre bore and wheel nut thread do change on the Y62 (78.1mm bore, M14x1.5 thread, versus 110.1mm and M12x1.25 on GQ/GU), so check with our team if you're unsure which generation you're fitting.
Are 17 or 18 inch wheels better for a Patrol?
17 inch suits touring, off-roading and a taller sidewall for a softer ride. 18 inch suits a Y62 already on factory 18s or 20s, and owners who want a sharper on-road feel while still keeping solid off-road ability.
What offset is best for a Nissan Patrol?

Will 17x9 or 18x9 wheels rub on a Patrol?
Most standard Patrol builds run these sizes without rubbing at factory or near-factory offsets. Lower offsets, bigger tyres or a lowered suspension can change that, so talk to our team about your exact setup before you order.
Do Lenso wheels suit a Patrol with a GVM upgrade?
Yes. Our Dinero, Hurricane and KAOS wheels carry a 1500kg load rating, and the Amada beadlock goes up to 1600kg on its -38 and -12 offsets, all suited to GVM upgrades and heavy touring setups. Amada and KAOS are both currently pre-order.
Can I reuse my factory Patrol wheel nuts?
Not across generations. GQ and GU use M12 x 1.25 nuts, Y62 uses M14 x 1.5. New wheel nuts are included with every set purchased through Lenso.
Do these wheels fit a Patrol with a GU to Y62 wheel swap?
The stud pattern matches, but centre bore and thread size don't carry across generations. Give our team a call to confirm hub-centric fitment before ordering.
